As Summer Winds Down…

We had a great summer this year and now look forward to a musical fall.   Djangolaya was busy at several farmers markets around town playing at Mosaic District, Pike & Rose, and Westfield Montgomery and will continue this rotation into the fall.    We also had a busy Bastille Day weekend playing 3 gigs.   One of our favorite gigs this summer was out at the Red Hiefer Winery in Smithsburg MD.   This is a beautiful setting in the mountains and we’re excited to announce that we’ll be back on Sept 29th for the Fall Craft Beverage Festival featuring several local wine, beer, and cider producers.   Advance discount tickets can be purchased here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/fall-craft-beverage-festival-at-red-heifer-winery-tickets-48311312436?aff=efbeventtix

This will mark our first year playing at the Takoma Park Folk Festival on Sept 16.   We’ll be on the World Stage from from 11-12.  The Takoma Park Folk Festival is a free annual festival featuring music and dance from around the world on six stages in Takoma Park, Maryland. From old-time fiddle and bluegrass to acoustic folk-rock to Afro-Latin fusion, performers range from well-seasoned stage veterans to youngsters on stage for the first time.   To see all of our fall events, see the flyer below or visit us on facebook.
