Fall is in the air and we’re looking forward to play at both some new and familiar venues. First up we’ll be returning to the Goodwin House in Alexandria for a concert on November 9th at 7:30.
Then on November 11th we’ll be featuring the Djangolaya Trio at the Windridge Vineyards in Darnestown MD for “Art and Jazz” night starting at 6:00. In partnership with the Montgomery Art Association, Windridge hosts beautiful works of art for sale from local artists, photographers and craftsmen. The newest collection is now on display and many of the artists will be on hand to mingle and speak about their works. Djangolaya, will set the mood for this exciting night. Wine and food will be available for purchase throughout the event.

Following that we’re excited to play at the legendary Hank Dietle’s Tavern in Rockville on November 17th . This will be a happy hour show starting 5:30 so come early for a cold one and we’ll have a special guest appearance by Tomas Drgon on guitar.

After Thanksgiving, the holiday season is in full swing. Speaking of swing, Djangolaya has two dates at the Downtown Holiday market. One on Saturday November 27th at noon and then again on Sunday December 12 at 2:30. The beloved outdoor market continues to support small businesses and entrepreneurs across the region, welcoming shoppers for a safe, secure and enhanced shopping experience in the heart of the District this year. Located at F Street NW between 7th and 9th Streets NW Entrance is outside the National Portrait Gallery. This year’s retail lineup will feature more than 70 exhibitors including Black-owned and minority-owned businesses from the DC Department of Small and Local Business Development’s (DSLBD) Made in DC program. Six food vendors will provide tasty treats and hot beverages, spread across the market.
